Terms of Service
Last updated: March 19, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Rouxlette and Sous, products operated by Kitchen Rodeo LLC. They are written to be practical and flexible as the products evolve.
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Rouxlette, Sous, related websites, newsletters, waitlists, chats, and tools (together, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. What the Services do
Rouxlette helps people discover recipes, weekly meal ideas, grocery lists, and publisher links. Sous is a conversational cooking assistant that may help with meal planning, recipe suggestions, grocery lists, preferences, and family cooking context. Features may change over time.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
4. Accounts, access, and waitlists
Some parts of the Services may require signup, an invite, a chat registration, payment, or a waitlist request. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, device, or chat identity.
5. Payments and pricing
Some features may be free, some may be paid, and some may be invite-only or in preview. We may introduce, remove, or change pricing, trials, billing terms, and packaging at any time. If you subscribe to a paid feature, you authorize recurring charges until cancellation, subject to the billing terms shown when you sign up.
6. Recipe and food guidance disclaimer
The Services are for informational purposes only. They do not provide medical, nutritional, allergy, pediatric, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing ingredients, methods, food safety steps, allergens, and suitability for your household before cooking or serving anything.
7. AI output disclaimer
Some outputs are generated or assisted by AI and may be incomplete, wrong, outdated, or badly suited to your situation. You should verify important details yourself, especially around allergens, substitutions, cooking times, temperatures, and safety.
8. Publisher content and links
Rouxlette is designed to send people to original recipe publishers. Recipe text, images, and other third-party content belong to their respective owners. Your use of publisher sites is governed by those sites' own terms and policies.
9. Acceptable use
- Use the Services lawfully and without harming others.
- Do not abuse, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Services.
- Do not use the Services to violate another party's rights or platform terms.
- Do not submit sensitive information unless the feature clearly calls for it.
10. Changes to the Services
We may add, change, pause, or discontinue any feature, model, integration, source, workflow, or part of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee that any feature will remain available forever.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, or used the Services in a way that is abusive, unlawful, or operationally harmful. You may stop using the Services at any time.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kitchen Rodeo LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kitchen Rodeo LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant Service in the prior 12 months or $100.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless another jurisdiction's law is required to apply.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the new Terms.
