Sweet Omelet with Berries
I learned about sweet omelet recipes from a friend of mine who was living in Finland and told me about eating omelets with jam. It's an easy, yummy breakfast.

Dan Leader's 4-Hour Baguette
This baguette recipe is the push you need to start baking your own bread. It will only take you 4 hours and it will rival your favorite bakery's french bread.

The perfect poached egg brunch
I love eggs. Most of the time I go to fancy brunches with my girls for poached eggs. Then I finally learned to do it myself. I love this so much!

Goat Cheese and Asparagus Omelet
I'm not a fan of eggs; however, my husband is so we experiment with many different ingredients in our omelets. This one is one we make again and again. If making for a crowd, we'll scramble the eggs and slice the asparagus into one inch pieces. Quantities are approximate; use however much asparagus you have or as much goat cheese as you like.

Tropical Pineapple Sorbet
This creamy pineapple sorbet recipe is short and sweet and if you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can make popsicles or freeze it in an ice cube tray.

Vegan Blood Orange Jello
This Vegan and Gluten free blood Orange Jello recipe is a great fruit snack. They can be made with or without additional sugars [I used a small amount of honey].

My Perfect French Omelette
I've been trying to "perfect" the French Omelette for a long time and I finally think this is it! Sometimes, the simplest and quickest recipes are the best.

Garlicky Chard
Want to take a break from kale? Give chard a chance. It’s a nutritious green and makes a great warm salad. I made this super easy warm chard-red quinoa salad in less than 15 minutes for a quick lunch. Its loaded with garlic and I topped it with tomatoes to add some freshness. You can add other veggies for more color and taste, add an egg, grilled tofu…this has endless possibilities!!

Warm Olives in Anchovy Oil
This recipe's warm olives make the perfect after-work snack to go along with a glass of crisp white wine. The anchovy oil adds even more of a salty kick.

This olive oil cake recipe with citrus and Grand Marnier has a crackling crust and aromatic oil-rich middle. It's an irresistibly moist and flavorful dessert.

Champagne Jello Shots
These adorable jello shots are perfect for any occasion, especially New Year’s Eve! I saw this recipe on Erica’s Sweet Tooth and could hardly wait to make them for NYE. They’re easy to make and look so fancy with the festive toothpicks. The guests were “oohing” and “aching” when I walked in with these cuties. Make them with any sweet bubbly wine or champagne.
For the Love of Roots and Leaves
This fun recipe was the very first recipe that I created when I wanted to "try" kale. I had read so much about how it was a Superfood and it was so healthy for me, but I didn't know how to "give it a go". I started with my favorite spices and added in some carrots and when I introduced my palate to Kale for the first time, I was super happy with this super food!

Chilled Oranges in Rum-Caramel Syrup
This easy, stylish recipe is an old favorite, adapted from a recipe in a French fashion magazine circa 1972. You can serve it as you would fruit compote for brunch, or as a refreshing, light dessert after a spicy meal. Or spoon a moat of it around a scoop of vanilla or honey ice cream or a trembling spoon of panna cotta. Recipe from Pure Dessert (Artisan, 2007)

Tortilla de Acelga
I spent some time last year in Argentina with family in a sleepy beach-side town. On day 1 in Miramar the family took us to Rotimar, a favorite lunch spot. We chose from dozens of pastries, baked goods, salads, and so much more. My favorite thing: Tortilla de Acelga (Swiss Chard Spanish Tortilla). I couldn't get enough of it. Upon my return to Texas, I immediately recreated the dish. This is the final and most delicious result. Even for the non Swiss Chard lovers out there, this one may win you over.

Autoimmune Paleo Quick Pickled Beet Salad
The yin of the balsamic vinegar and orange zest greets the yang of the earthy beets to make a wonderfully surprising balance dish that is light on its feet and easy to pull together.

Whats more comforting than pasta after a long day at work?! The answer is this quick, no-fuss pasta. This is my go-to fusilli recipe for a weekday dinner.

Super Greens Pasta Bake
Sometimes, you just want a Super Greens Rotini recipe that you can make ahead and pop in the oven later. With tomato sauce, whole grain pasta & cheesy topping.

Prime Rib Roast
This is a standard take on a beef rib roast, which is to say it is how my father made the dish when I was younger, and how I have mostly made it since. The clear, rich fat that runs into the pan below the meat is the perfect vehicle for Yorkshire pudding.

Roast Turkey
After a successful Thanksgiving meal, guests invariably wonder why we don’t roast turkeys more often. The following months give ample opportunity to do just that. Here is a herb-roasted holiday bird stuffed with citrus and onion to provide a little zing against the fat.

Brittle made with Jaggery!
Brittle recipes can be made with your favorite nuts or seeds– Peanuts, almonds, cashews, sesame seeds or even flax seeds. Jaggery is an unrefined form of sugar.
Fois Gras Triangle Appetizers
This recipe was a creation and a spin off of the Indian samosa. Living in France, samosas are a common appetizer or starter for a meal. I felt I could create something special for the holidays that was elegant and original.

Cheese Sables with Rosemary Salt
Can there be anything more fantastically savoury and moreish to have with a cocktail than a little cheese biscuit? That tang and crunch just go perfectly. These are crisp and with a good bite from strong cheese and a kick from the cayenne. Make a load of these to stash away in your freezer, ready to whip out when entertaining over Christmas. As you can see from my photograph, I served these with a Negroni but naturally the choice of drink is up to you. Or serve them anytime you would like a snack -- my children love them!

Simple Homemade Tomato Soup
I used Barefoot Contessa's Easy Tomato Soup recipe as my baseline, but adjusted it to make it less rich/oily.
