Chocolate and Nut Butter Caramel Bark
A reinterpretation and mash-up of two of my favorite childhood sweets: chocolate bark and peanut butter. I used Justin's Almond Butter in this recipe, but you could use any nut butter you'd like.

Sweet Potato Skin Bake
For sweet potato skeptics, this bake is only slightly sweet—but rich and bubbly and crisp and everything you wanted from a potato skin that you've never gotten.

Irish soda bread with flax seeds
This soda bread is very simple to realize, delicious and healthy. Enjoy!

Lentils, carrots and spinach bowl accompanied with light cream
A delicious vegetarian recipe for a fall lunch

Paal Payasam (3-Ingredient Rice Pudding)
There is a rather endearing practice common to almost all communities in India. At the first hint of anything positive and good in the horizon, any good news—a promotion at work, good grades in school, a college acceptance letter, news of a distant relative's pregnancy, the Indian cricket team scoring a win, doesn't matter what—30 minutes later there invariably will be a sweet dessert ready to share as a thanksgiving. In my house, it's a simple rice pudding known as paal payasam. Its a snap to make. Its not quite as thick as the English version, more like a thick soup.

Meera Sodha’s Naan
The British cookbook author learned this recipe from her aunt Harsha, and included it in her “Made in India: Recipes from an Indian Family Kitchen” in 2015. It is simple to make, and results in crackly-soft flatbreads singed by heat and yielding to tenderness within, with a faint tang of yogurt. It is exactly the sort of thing you’d love to dip in a pool of curry again and again. Just set up an assembly line to roll out the dough and cook it in a hot pan. Once you make the recipe two or three times you’ll never buy naan again.

All-Purpose Biscuits
Homemade biscuits are what take us into the kitchen today to cook: fat, flaky mounds of quick bread, golden brown, with a significant crumb. Composed of flour, baking powder, fat and a liquid, then baked in a hot oven, they are an excellent sop for syrup, molasses or honey. They are marvelous layered with country ham or smothered in white sausage gravy, with eggs, with grits. They make a great Thanksgiving side. And if you've never made them before, you'll be delighted to know that biscuits are easy to make. Really.

Pea Nut-less Butter
This homemade pea butter is the perfect nut butter substitute for a person who is allergic to peanuts. It uses dry peas, oil, and syrup for texture and flavor.

Vegan Banana Cashew Yogurt
A very non-traditional approach to yogurt! This dairy-free blend mixes cashews and bananas for creamy sweetness, along with a touch of lime for tartness. It's easy to prepare and it's a perfect base for granola and fruit or muesli.

Balsamic Sabayon with Strawberries
This simple sabayon takes on unexpected elegance with the addition of Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale, a traditional pairing with strawberries. For a perfect pairing, sip on a Nebbiolo or Cabernet Sauvignon with it … which are the wines we use to make our Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale.

ÄPPELBULLAR, APPLE CINNAMON ROLLS
This recipe for apple and cinnamon rolls is typical of the Scandinavian countries. Fill a delicious brioche sourdough with an apple cinnamon-sugar filling.

Unsalted Butter
Use this recipe to learn how to make your own unsalted butter with nothing more than good cream and a strong arm. It's both fun, delicious, and rewarding.

Chocolate Spider Ring Pops
Why wear a plastic spider ring when you can don an edible one!? These won’t last long on your little ones fingers, they are just too spook-tacularly tasty to avoid being nibbled at right away!

Endless Summer Matcha Chia Pudding Pops
I refuse to let this summer go—and thankfully, New York City’s weather has been pretty cooperative as of late. Make these funky, subtly sweet popsicles as an act of defiance; I’ll be eating mine on the roof, in my shorts, with a Michelada, sticking my tongue out at anyone who brings up fall.

Peach sour cream sherbet
Though Alice Medrich`s recipe states that this is an ice cream, I`d call it more of a sherbet because it`s on a less creamy, more refreshing side. But probably if you use 25% fat sour cream all the way through, you`ll get just that perfect ice cream creaminess.

Coconut Fudge Truffles
These truffles are decadent and fudgy - one or two are all you need to satisfy your most intense chocolate cravings.

Strawberry frozen yogurt
Slightly adapted from the ice Cream Bible, the Perfect Scoop. To be enjoyed in scoops from the container, straight from the freezer bowl as a soft-serve or in popsicle form.

Thai Tea Ice with Sweet Milk
Thai iced Tea is deconstructed and made into a refreshing recipe: strong, spicy tea Granita—a tad bitter—with super-rich sweet milk. Really simple; really good.
Redcurrant coconut ice cream
The tapioca acts as a thickener and gives body to this ice cream, but you may omit it if you want a sherbet like consistency. But i`m just dead afraid of churning too liquidy things (think sorbet and sherbet) so I`d stick to tapioca if I were you.

Zucchini fritters
I learned to make these from a friend, a retired chef, almost 30 years ago. My children love them dearly, and ask for them regularly during zucchini season. They're very simple, and pretty easy to make. Be careful about using "off-brand" saltine crackers; they can change the taste dramatically.
Wildberry frozen yogurt
No flavor surprises here - just luscious sweet wildberries and creamy tangy (preferably Greek) yogurt. Superb when sandwiched between two oatmeal cookies for all of you dessert-for-breakfast types like me. Or think granola parfait. Fruit salad bowl. Pancakes. Waffles. You name it. That scoop won`t spoil anything.
Mini Buttermilk Biscuits
I've made a lot of biscuits and this mini buttermilk recipe is solid. But, good biscuit making comes from practice, so I try not to overwork the dough.
