Cauliflower Hash Browns
Paleo, grain-free and low-carb twist on traditional breakfast hash browns using cauliflower instead of potatoes. Cauliflower will never have tasted so good!

Moffles!
For this moffles recipe, the waffle iron transforms the texture of the hard, dense mochi block so that the outside is crispy crackly, while the inside is soft.

Rye Bread French Toast
My mom's recipe makes a French toast out of thin slices of Jewish rye bread, dipped in egg, fried until golden, and served with plenty of salt and pepper.

CREAM CHEESE WITH CHIVES
I decided to jazz up our classic bagel breakfast recipe by adding chives to the cream cheese. Chives have a perfect oniony flavor with a tiny hint of garlic.
My Perfect French Omelette
I've been trying to "perfect" the French Omelette for a long time and I finally think this is it! Sometimes, the simplest and quickest recipes are the best.

Oatmeal with cinnamon and apples
This is my go to breakfast most mornings. It is quick, full of great nutrients and fibre and is on the low glycemic index which means it gives me energy right until lunch.

Banana-Dulce de leche on whole wheat toast
This is one of my 8 year old's favorites (we keep a daily breakfast rotation at home), and I am always happy to prepare this for him: the whole wheat bread adds complex starches, bananas are packed with minerals and the sprinkled almonds on top add good fats. The dulce de leche being my dose of Argentine morning love for him, this wholesome and yummy breakfast holds him over till lunch time, and can be fixed in 5 minutes.

5-Ingredient Super Fresh Salmon Avocado Bagel
This is a quick, fresh, and nutritious energy packed meal that can be eaten for breakfast or any meal of the day! A delicious spin on the classic avocado toast, this bagel will give you the oomph you need to get you through your Monday Blues.

Roasted Baby Turnips with Dijon-Shallot Vinaigrette and Tarragon
Oftentimes at brunch, I'm so underwhelmed by the side dishes: usually just some overdressed frisée or a bad biscuit (hey, I may live in Brooklyn, but this Southern girl knows what a real biscuit is supposed to taste like). This delicious side dish is easy to pull together at the last minute, but your guests will never know! It's a great compliment to any brunch table.

Shanghai Noodles Served with Sauce
This is a quick and easy traditional breakfast dish, often seen on Shanghai people's breakfast table usually served together with stir fried eggs, Chinese tea or/and soy bean milk to make a full breakfast. When I was little, my dad cooked this as easy and quick morning dish, and sometimes as dinner as well. Now I cook for my family by myself, so this easy one would be a good choice for a rush morning.

Orange-Currant Scones
The orange zest and currants in these tender scones are an homage to the chef Judy Rodgers of the Zuni Cafe in San Francisco, who made her storied scones until 1997. The dough and method here, though, are adapted from Heather Bertinetti, the pastry chef at the Four Seasons restaurant in New York. The genius of this particular scone recipe is in the geometry. Slicing a rolled-out slab of dough into squares or rectangles is infinitely simpler than cutting out rounds — and there's less chance of toughening the dough by re-rolling it and adding more flour. You can use any kind of chopped dried fruit in place of the currants.

Super Simple Single Serving Breakfast Quesadilla
What could be easier than just sticking some cheese and the tortilla atop the egg and frying it all together? Easy-peasy Single Serving Breakfast recipe.

Cholula Hot Sauce Chicken
I love Cholula Hot Sauce from Mexico--it brings the flavor but not too much heat--perfect for chicken. This recipe highlights this sauce's balanced flavor!

A great brunch dish, inspired by a brunch I had at The Huckleberry Cafe in Santa Monica, Los Angeles CA.

Winter Citrus Salad
The perfect winter brunch salad, quick to pull together and colorful enough to brighten any gray day!

SLB - SWEET Leaf Blower
This is my go-to Sweet Leaf drink recipe for breakfast - the lime adds a lip-smacking punch and the avocado makes it oh so creamy! Using chard tastes best to me.

Balsamic Fried Eggs
San Francisco is my all time favorite city to visit each year. Though I can't possibly visit all of the restaurants on my list within the two weeks I am there, I look out for recipes from the San Francisco Chronicle and other sources when I am at home on Maui. This fantastic recipe comes from the San Francisco Chronicle and is a favorite brunch item at Foreign Cinema restaurant. It has become one of my favorite ways to prepare eggs.

Mashed Potato Cakes with Broccoli and Cheese
The mashed potato cake is the best way, second only to shepherd's pie, to breathe new life into leftover mashed potatoes. With a crunchy panko crust, garlicky broccoli, and sharp cheddar cheese, these won over even my spud-snubbing two-year-old.

Blood Orange Marmalade - Sunset in a jar
This marmalade is like the brightest red sunset caught in a jar. So far my marmalade recipe worked very well with Seville oranges and tangerines, so why not with blood oranges? It worked, and more than that, the result is amazing! Sweet, yet slightly bitter.

Pane d' Altamura (rustic Italian bread)
This Altamura bread recipe comes from the region of Puglia in Italy where the flavor, texture and look of this bread is honored by locals and tourists alike.

Quick & Easy Collards
Collard Greens are a nutrient dense and often overlooked leafy green. Most southerners cook them a long time- resulting in a drab green leaf. These collards are bright green and cook in about 5-10 min (after the initial prep). Collards can take a while to prep, especially if you get whole leaves (or a whole head), so this recipe allows you to do the time-consuming prep work a day or so ahead of time. Currently my favorite way to eat these is for Breakfast with eggs and smashed potatoes. The inspiration for these came from Small B&B in Pittsboro, NC. They served them for dinner and again for breakfast. This is my idea of how they cooked them- I'm not sure since I never saw their recipe.

Avocado Citrus Breakfast Shake (aka the "I wish I were in San Diego" smoothie)
I was in the frigid Minnesota winter and missing California, so I blended together avocado, orange, and coconut for a hit of sunshine in this smoothie recipe.
